Spiritual and pilgrimage tours will take you to places that are religiously significant all over Asia. Asian countries like Nepal, India, Tibet and Bhutan all have places that are very religiously significant. If you are a Buddhist or a Hindu then there is no other place in the world better than Asia. Even if you are not and are only trying to follow the path of peace then you should definitely try spiritual retreat in nepal. Nepal is birth place of Buddha and the Himlayan nation offers a lot of places that are secluded and peaceful, just the right ambienece for yoga and meditation. There are also places with high sipritual energy. Places in which great yogis and masters have meditated for years and attained enlightnment.

Visit important religious sites with our spiritual and pilgrimage tour in Nepal and Bhutan. Visit the cultural heritage sites listed in UNESCO of Nepal and culturally significant sites of Bhutan. Also, we have a Nepal and Bhutan Buddhist pilgrimage tour which focuses only on the religiously significant sites. Highlights of this tour are Lumbini- the birthplace of Gautam Buddha, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath of Nepal and Tiger’s Nest, Kichu Lhakhang, Rinpung Dzong in Bhutan to name of few among others. The rich culture and tradition of Nepal and Bhutan attract thousands of tourists every year. While Buddhists are overwhelmed to visit religiously significant places other simply marvel at the grandeur of the religious sites.

The best season to go on a spiritual and pilgrimage tour is spring, autumn, and early winter. During these seasons the temperature of daytime is neither too hot nor too cold. But the early morning and late evening during autumn and early winter can get little chilly. Summers are hot while you will get snow and rain in winter and monsoon. Spring and Autumn months are actually the best time for this tour as most of the religiously significant festivals fall during the spring months and Autmn months. Being in these countries during these religiously significant festivals definately adds a highlight to your pilgrimage tour. The significant festivals are Holi and Dashai festivals in Nepal and Tschechu in Bhutan.

We were so lucky to make this trip before the terrible Covid-19 pandemic made travel impossible. We were deliberating to take this trip during March-April when it would turn a bit warmer, but then Alice (my partner) could only schedule her holiday...

Guinness World Record holder Gives Third Rock Adventures a Review!

werner berger

Werner Berger is the Guinness Book of World Records holder for being the oldest person in the World to have climbed the highest mountain on each of the seven (7) continents (incl. Mt. Everest).

I am Werner Berger and my "claim to fame" is probably best defined as being in the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest person in the world to have climbed the highest mountain on each of the seven continents, including Mt. Everest.

Little did I know my life was to change forever on my first trek into the Himalaya in 1992 at age 55. It was the beginning and just a matter time before I realized I could combine my leadership and climbing skills to create a program in which people could explore their own possibilities.

So, in 2010, I began leading Transformational Life Experiences, treks to Mt. Everest Base Camp and other high places.

One of the earliest keys to success is to find a company with the right mix of professionalism, support, and, of course, experience. I have used Naba Amgai and his teams on all my Nepal trekking adventures.

Naba's caring and climber support, is second to none. In my estimation, Third Rock Adventures is one of the very best in the business, in or outside of Nepal. They know the mountains. So you can relax, enjoy and transform.
