This festival is held at the Druk Wangyal Lhakhang festival ground located at Dochula Pass which is located around 22 km from Thimpu. This place is one of the most scenic locations in the country. Her Majesty the Queen Mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo built the Druk Wangyal Lhakhang. It was built over a period of four years (2004-2008) under her majesty’s supervision.
