We did the trek with a travel company owned-n-operated by Naba, a friend suggested company. Though it was our first trek with them, we put all our faith on them and we did the best. We successfully trekked and came back to home with lots of beautiful memories. The guide and porter and travel consultant were like friends. They were helpful and careful. I still remember the day we crossed Namun La, Kang La, and Mesokanto La Pass, and visited Tashi Lhakhang Gompa. On the way to Namun Base Camp, one of our friends felt hard to trek, but our guide gave him the medicine and rested for a while. In the meantime, the guide shared his story of working as a guide and his obsession with the mountains. After sometime, our friend was okay to walk again. TIPS here; make sure you exercise for a couple of week, before you head to Nepal. This will help you a lot along the trekking-trail. Manang village was fantastic, a completely different village. Our guide shared things about the village, and requested us to eat local food. We ate and loved the taste. Every day, we learnt new things from the guide. My friend absolutely loved to explore the remote villages of Nar and Phu. We were completely away from modern world, amidst the mountains. Had great time, and we are grateful to our friend who recommended us Third Rock.
