A good friend from Australia recommended I go with Third Rock Adventures, and especially mentioned Naba for his top-notch planning — and I’m so glad I listened! The Everest Three High Passes Trek is honestly one of the toughest yet most rewarding treks I’ve ever done.
From the moment I landed in Nepal, everything was handled flawlessly. Crossing Renjo La, Cho La, and Kongma La passes isn’t for the faint-hearted — each day pushed me to my limits. But the payoff? Jaw-dropping views in every direction, with mighty peaks, glacial lakes, and tiny villages that make you feel like you’re in another world.
Life up there is so raw and real — and the simple, hearty food in the tea houses was just what I needed to recharge after long, grueling days. Garlic soup, dal bhat, momos — I swear they taste better at 5,000 meters!
The guides were patient, motivating, and really knew how to keep the group safe and well-acclimatized. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better team to tackle this adventure with.
