Best Annapurna Experience with Third Rock

A close friend & I decided to try to tackle EBC. We knew we had some physical limitations at age 57, so chose the trek up, heli down option. Naba and crew were extraordinarily responsive to any & all pre-trek questions we had. They picked us up at the airport and went over our trekking plans. We were introduced to our guide, Dol Amgai. We tried for 3 days to get to Lukla to start out trek, first by our planned plane ride, then by helicopter, but the weather refused to let up. Dol stayed with us through all the airport waiting, taxi back to the hotel & made sure we were happy & safe. After 3 days, we decided to re-route to ABC, and again both Third Rock Adventures & Mingma accommodated our needs. The ABC trek was difficult for us but fantastic, and Dol & porter Shyam, were professional, upbeat and always helpful as we overcame our tiredness to push to have the BEST experience. I would 100% recommend Third Rock Adventures for any trekking or other travel experience. Thanks to the team! So many cherished memories thanks to them.
