We chose Third Rock on recommendation and because we were able to collaborate with Naba to add to the itinery to suit our needs. The Manaslu and Tsum were a great introduction to the nepalese landscape, and our guide Surya gave us some interesting background to the cultural and religious history of the valleys. Despite the cyclone we were able to trek through the snow to Mo Gompa, our furthest point in the Tsum. Unfortunately track damage, bad weather and closure in the Manaslu meant that we came out and were unable to complete the circuit. The team of Surya, Sagar, Ram and Lal were attentive, serious and looked after our wellbeing, keeping our spirits high despite the challenges we faced. We already plan to return to complete the circuit another time. Third Rock excelled themselves, while we were trekking the management team were organising a trek to Ghandruk and Poon Hill. I enjoyed the new area, the geology is quite different and the views at daybreak on Poon Hill are breathtaking. I would recommend Third Rock for their collaboration with clients, their excellent trekking teams and their team in Kathmandu who are ready to make changes if necessary.
