Wonderful trip to Mera Peak

The first time trip with third Rock Adventures trek exceeded all expectations and was challenging on many levels both physically and mentally. It's a long trip, but the route took us in a loop away from the busy EBC track and into areas of complete isolation which constantly took your breath away (literally). We did meet some other smaller groups, but it's interesting to note that none of them reached their objectives - because they didn't have the outstanding support we were provided with by Gadul Tamang and his team of climbing Sherpas, porters and cooks. Aside from the amazing food and logistical stuff, their technical expertise ensured that we climbed the mountains and passes with confidence and safety. This trek was much more difficult than the Everest High Passes trip I did few years back, but totally amazing thanks to the efforts of all involved at this company and the fantastic group of new mates that shared this "once in a lifetime" experience!
