We had a spectacular 15 days with our Third Rock Adventures guide, Surya, and porter, Sanker. There were clear blue skies most mornings, allowing us to view amazing scenery throughout the trek. Surya kept us informed on everything we were looking at, as well as some basic stories from Buddhism and Hinduism, so that we knew more about what we were seeing in the temples and monasteries. He speaks English very well, so we could converse easily, enabling us to learn about Nepal and the Nepalese people. Surya went beyond his guiding role with his interesting lessons, and helping me get through a tough day when I felt unwell. Sanker always greeted us at our teahouses with a big smile and helpful hand. Once again, with the superior Third Rock Adventures staff, I felt like the luckiest client on the trail.

Mera Peak was an incredible experience! I looked at booking the trip over a year in advance, and the owner of Third Rock Adventures (Naba) sent me multiple itineraries to help customize a trekking plan that would fit my needs and timeline. The booking process was smooth and communication was great. The company took care of airport pick up, hotel stay, food, and pretty much anything else on arrival. One of the company guides showed me Khatmandu for a day before I left for my trek and he even invited me to his house for a traditional Nepalese dinner! During the trek, I had the best guide on the mountain in Lhakpa Dorjee Sherpa! Nearly everything was taken care of on the mountain as well, outside of renting crampons and double boots. I can’t recommend Third Rock Adventures enough, and I look forward to using their services again for more treks in the future!

The trek was amazing, with spectacular views and well maintained trails. What stood out for me was our Third Rock Adventures guide, Shiva, and porter, Nima. They both made sure that I was as warm and comfortable as possible in the tea houses and set a steady, easy pace to follow on the trail. The fresh fruit and cookies they brought along were nice little treats at the end of the day. Shiva was eager to answer all of my questions; he has good English language skills, making it easy to chat and learn about Nepal. Our Third Rock Adventures team stood out among many of the other guides and porters we encountered on the trek, and I felt very lucky to be with them.

Our guide Krishna was excellent. Incredibly kind and funny. Full of interesting facts about the area we visited and Nepal in general. He showed so much care for me when I got sick on the trek and he seamlessly and cheerfully changed our agenda for us.

Our guide, Krishna, is exceptional! His knowledge of the area is extensive and he enthusiastically shares it. From the names of every peak, to all the mammals, plants and birds we saw, Krishna knew about them all. He was very good about accommodating the needs of our group and always put our comfort and safety first. Our porters, Hare and Ramesh were capable, friendly and a great addition to our trek. I highly recommend this trek with our new friends at Third Rock!

Travis from London recommended me Third Rock Adventures for trekking adventure in Nepal. I wasn't sure about that so I called Naba personally and had talk about the trek and Nepal landscape and surprisingly he was so accommodated with Nepal Himalayas. I wanted to do Mardi Trek but somehow I booked for Gokyo Lakes trek. It was a wonderful trekking expereience. Thanks to Bimal thapa who was my main trekking guide from day 1. He was friendly, energetic and humble. The trek to Gokyo lake is not just about alpine lake but also about mountains, local people, and Nepali unique culture. I learned so much from this trek. I couldn't be more happier. I definitely recommend Third Rock Adventures and Bimal Thapa for trek to Nepal.

The Namche Bazaar Trek and Helicopter Tour exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I set foot on the trail, I was captivated by the rugged beauty of the Himalayan landscape. Each day brought new adventures and breathtaking vistas, culminating in an unforgettable helicopter ride over the towering peaks. Third Rock Adventures' attention to detail and knowledgeable guides made this expedition both thrilling and safe. A must-do for anyone seeking an adrenaline-packed adventure in Nepal!
