Energetic, Enthusiastic, and Easygoing are the three words that describe the personality of Bimal Thapa. Born and brought up in the beautiful village of Gorkha, Bimal is one of the best trekking leaders of Third Rock Adventures. In almost two-decades-long careers, Bimal has trekked to every trekking region of Nepal. Everest Base Camp Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Upper Mustang Trek, and Gokyo Lakes Trek are among the major treks he has done more than 100 times in his career. He has also trekked to Gosaikunda Lakes more than 15 times, Mardi Himal Base Camp, and Khopra Danda more than 10 times. Furthermore, he has done the Tibet Lhasa tour, Everest Base Camp Trek from Tibet, Mansorabar, and Mt Kailash Tour. And there's more.

Bimal, an adventurer since childhood, hails from Gorkha village. He would explore the local trail almost every day in pursuit of exploration. Little did he know that he would be an expert trekking guide. He started working as a guide in 2003. Over the years, his passion for travel escalated, and his admiration for the mountains higher than Mount Everest. His friendly demeanor, irresistible smile, and humble temperament are his first impression.

Bimal has led hundreds of trekking groups from around the world. On the trail, he ensures the safety of every trekker. Every client who has been to the mountains with him has consistently praised his work and enthusiasm. He has garnered many reviews and positive feedback for his dedication and diligence. He is a certified trekking guide from the Government of Nepal. He successfully completed English Language Course that entailed learning English, first aid, eco-trekking, and environmental clean-up campaign. He is trained personnel in 'Intensive Wilderness First Aid Training' from Kathmandu Environmental Educational Project (KEEP) in association with Nepal Tourism Board. Furthermore, he has also completed several significant training including First Aid Training, Photography Training, and Skill Development Training program.

With his years and years of experience and outstanding expertise, Bimal has been excelling in his career as a trekking guide.
