Kathmandu, October 16
A team of climbers from Bahrain, including Prince of Bahrain, Mr. Mohamed Hamad Mohamed Al Khalifa, successfully climbed Mount Manaslu yesterday morning.
According to the Manager of Seven Summit Treks, Mr. Thaneshwor Guragai, the member of royal guards along with record holder Sherpa climbers, reached to the top of Mount Manaslu at around 7:00 am.
The team, which also climbed mount Lobuche in Everest Region before climbing Mount Manaslu plans to climb Mount Everest in 2021.
The team was led by record holder Sherpas. Kami Rita Sherpa who has already climbed Mount Everest 24 times, Migma Sherpa who is the first South Asian to climb all 14 mountains above 8000m height, Sanu is the third Nepali to climb all 14 mountains above 8000m, Tashi Lakpa holds the record as the youngest person to climb Mount Everest without supplementary oxygen and expedition director Chhang Dawa and his brother Mingma who together holds the record as "First brothers to climb all 14 mountains above 8000m."
