Kathmandu, March 10

Work has started to issue permits for mountaineering in the coming spring season. According to the Department of Tourism, four climbers from a team have taken permission to climb the 7,864-meter high Nuptse Mountain on Tuesday. This is the first permission this season.

According to the department, in order to make the mountaineering systematic this time, an arrangement has been made to issue the climbing permit after the online briefing from the agencies. A royalty of Rs. 279,240 has also been collected from the Government of Nepal from the first ascent permission.

Climbers can climb the mountain according to the permit issued in the spring from the first week of next May. Climbing is relatively easy and safe this season. That is why a large number of tourists come to Nepal to climb the mountain.
