The Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) Everest Massif Expedition 2021 team has successfully climbed Mt. Pumori peak today.
Everest Massif Expedition 2021 is a two-month-long expedition conducted by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation. The members are supposed to climb four peaks: Mount Nuptse (7,861 meters), Mount Pumori (7,161 meters) and Mount Lhotse (8,516 meters), and Mount Everest (8,848 meters).
According to Pasang Sherpa, Managing Director at Peak Promotion Pvt Ltd, the IMF team became the first Indian group to stand atop Mt. Pumori successfully.
