Mountain flights will now be available from Simikot, an attractive destination for Indian tourists. It will be the third mountain flight destination in the country. The announcement was made by Summit Air, a privately owned airline.
Earlier, there were regular mountain flights from Kathmandu and Pokhara. Mountain flight from Biratnagar has also been tested.
Mount Kailash can be observed up close by a mountain flight from Simikot. In addition, Mount Api, Mount Saipal, and many other mountain ranges can be observed, Summit Air has mentioned.
Companies are now launching a variety of packages and products to boost the long-awaited tourism business.
