Solukhumbu, January 23
On January 22, Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality issued a notice regarding Covid-19 update.
Due to the global pandemic of Covid-19, all passengers, tourists, and citizens entering the village from other districts were admitted only after submitting a report with a negative result of the PCR test as per the decision of the village executive.
Arrangements have been made for antigen testing at the Nicole Nikki Hospital in Pasanglamu, Lukla. Training has been provided for Swab collection for PCR test to the health workers of Lukla Hospital under the village municipality.
In the current situation, the infection rate of Covid-19 is declining, the Government of Nepal has almost completely removed the lockdown and is starting to vaccinate against Covid-19, and other local levels are also removing this provision.
On this note, the municipality stated that the PCR report is not required to enter this village municipality from other districts from January 23 (today). Requests are made to all concerned. Also, based on this information, all air service providers are requested to make arrangements for the arrival and departure of passengers, tourists and other citizens.
