Pokhara-Jomsom flight resumes

Kathmandu, March 6

Regular flights on the Pokhara-Jomsom route have started from Sunday.

Pokhara and Jomsom are among the major tourist attractions in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Pokhara, which is the entry point for all treks in the Annapurna region, has started operating local flights to Jomson after many years. 

Tara Air has started flying on this route. The route has been closed since last December after the start of the third wave of Covid-19.

According to Tara Air, a total of five flights were operated on Sunday alone. According to the company, more Indian nationals and some foreign passengers flew in it. On this route, Tara will fly daily. Passengers traveling to Muktinath, in particular, will benefit from this route.
