The government has announced the launch of Himal Bachau campaign (Save Mountain Campaign). Presenting the government's policy and program for the upcoming financial year 2080/81 in the joint house of the federal parliament, President Ramchandra Paudel mentioned that a network will be created to raise awareness about the risks posed by the climate crisis in underdeveloped and mountainous countries.
It is mentioned in the government's policy and program that he will take initiatives to build a network of concerned countries to raise sensitivity to climate change and mobilize international aid for reparation of damages.
Similarly, the government has announced that Nepal will increase negotiations and agreements on the issue of climate change.
From the snow chain of Nepal to the mountains and plains of Nepal, it is mentioned in the government's policies and programs for the next financial year to conduct community-oriented programs by mobilizing national and international financial technology and knowledge and skills to minimize the adverse effects of climate change and promote environmental protection.
