The Government of Nepal has decided to allow foreign tourists to enter Nepal from October 17.
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has decided to allow foreign tourists to enter the country with a negative report of COVID 19 infection. The Ministry made the announcement of Tourism after a meeting of ministers from various ministries with the Prime Minister. According to government officials, foreign tourists will have to submit a PCR negative report for the last 72 hours before visiting Nepal.
The government also waived off the COVID insurance of tourists. However, in the case of illness, they have to bear the cost of treatment themselves. Visas will also be issued to tourists at Tribhuvan International Airport.
