Chisapani, Nagarkot, and Dhulikhel Trek - 6 days

Once you land at Kathmandu International Airport, a representative from Third Rock Adventures will welcome you. He will help you with airport formalities (if any) and transfer to the hotel. 

Later you can freshen up and visit the main office in Thamel. Here you'll attend a small pre-trip meeting. Your trek guide will briefly explain the itinerary of the Chisapani, Nagarkot, and Dhulikhel Trek.

In the evening, you can explore nearby places like Thamel, Indrachowk, and Ason. You can try Nepalese cuisine, and learn more about the country's main city cultures.

Overnight stay in Kathmandu. 

Early morning, you'll grab a hot breakfast and take a short drive to Sundarijal. Begin the trek from here; the path goes through the densely forested area of Shivapuri National Park. En route, you'll see the huge water dam, a drinking water source for the people of Kathmandu.

After traversing through Mulkharka village, you'll reach Chisapani village. The village offers grand sight of mountains, including Langtang, Manaslu, and Ganesh Himal ranges. Later you can learn about the rural Nepali lifestyle by interacting with locals.

Today's trekking route is even more pristine, offering stunning vistas of the snow-capped mountain and green hills. After finishing breakfast, you'll start your trek leaving behind Chisapani village. Walking through jungle areas, passing through beautiful rice field terraces, and with the lovely rural villages, you'll reach the popular hill station of Nagarkot. 

You'll get a spellbinding view of mountain ranges from Nagarkot, including Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Everest, etc. Later in the evening, enjoy the sunset view over the majestic Himalayas. You can even relax with a cup of coffee, read a book, or do yoga.

Set your alarm and wake up early in the morning to catch lovely sunrise with the magnificent Himalayan scenery. On a clear sunny day, you'll witness the Himalayan ranges of Everest, Langtang, Gaurishankar, and Ganesh Himal. You'll catch picture perfect view of snowy mountains, green hills, and a blue sky with big clouds.

Next, you'll slowly descend toward Dhulikhel. It is a typical Newari town that lies on the hillside of Nepal. You can take an easy hike to Kali Temple, where you'll get panoramic mountain vistas with green hills. You can take a short walk on narrow alleys, which is both beautiful and culturally rich.

Overnight stay in Dhulikhel. 

After having a pleasant stay at small Newari town today, you'll head back to Kathmandu. Enjoy a hot breakfast with astonishing views of the Himalayas and green hills. It is easily accessible from the capital city via Araniko Highway, so you'll reach Kathmandu within an hour if you don't get stuck in a traffic jam.

Once you reach Kathmandu, you can take a short rest and freshen up. Later you can visit nearby areas like Thamel, Durbar Marg, Ason, or Indrachowk. All these places are the busiest marketplace in the city. You can even do some souvenir shopping.

Today you'll bid farewell and depart to your home country. A representative from Third Rock Adventures will drop you at the Kathmandu International Airport before your final departure.
