Our Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek

For me and my wife, our recent trip to Ama Dablam happened to be a trip of a lifetime. We did Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek, though we had trekked half of the way already (on our way to Everest Base Camp). We chose this trek as we were familiar to the trail and Third Rock suggested us this one. Our trek ended for about 2 weeks, including a day tour in Kathmandu. Lukla Flight as always was a thrilling experience. My wife was a bit reluctant but did it anyway. Our guide was fantastic. He made sure we did it. Every time my wife backed off, our guide would encourage her to step forward. I was impressed. His English was good and he was sometimes funny. We really enjoyed his company. He would explain everything to us. On the day of the Hike from Pangboche to Ama Dablam Base Camp, we had the grand sight of some lofty mountains including Everest. We loved the views! Our guide clicked amazing photos of us with the mountains. He happened to be a good photographer as well. The trek was fantastic. Glad we chose THird Rock. Highly obliged!
