Kathmandu, March 21 - Tourists can now travel to Nepal's restricted trekking areas with a single permit, even if they are traveling alone. According to the Department of Immigration, solo hikers will now be allowed to get trekking permits for restricted areas. Earlier, individual trekkers were not usually given such permits, which meant they often had to find a trekking partner before applying.
