Thangka Painitng

I recently participated in the Thangka Painting Workshop and Sightseeing Tour organized by Third Rock, and it was a truly enriching experience. The workshop was led by a talented and experienced Thangka artist who shared with us the intricate techniques and symbolism behind this ancient form of Tibetan art. It was amazing to watch as our own paintings took shape under his guidance. The sightseeing tour was equally fascinating, as we visited some of the most iconic landmarks of Kathmandu. From the ancient temples of Boudhanath and Swayambhunath to the beautiful Durbar Square, every stop on the tour was filled with history and culture. The entire day was well-organized and enjoyable, with ample time for both learning and exploration. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and made sure that we were comfortable and informed throughout the day.
