Wonderful trek, wonderful people

I am glad that I decided to undertake the Phaplu to Everest Base Camp Trek with my partner. Before this, we had never opted for trekking. Last winter, everything worked for us after months and we decided it is time to take the call for the mountains.. We both wanted to do trekking, but since Nepal’s mountains are not easy for beginners, I was more leaning towards doing easy and short treks in Nepal. But my partner was so keen on doing the Everest Base Camp trek, so we agreed to the EBC trek. But I insisted we try a different route, other than the regular 14 days EBC trek, we looked for a new itinerary and stuck upon this itinerary offered by Third Rock. It compelled me to insist my partner do and he agreed. He hit the booking and headed to Nepal after a few days. The guide welcomes us at the airport with a garland, and it was such a sweet gesture. We were escorted to the hotel in Thamel and had a brief pre-trek discussion, which was simply helpful. We had an amazing ride to Phaplu. Our guide was friendly and caring. I am thankful to him for his extra care during the days in the mountain villages. We were given the best available room and good facilities. Our guide explained everything, and every day was special to us. The people were greeting NAMASTE to us on the way. It was a great experience. The trek was a fit-trek for us.
