First Heli ride in Nepal

This was my third time in Nepal, and I wanted to heli ride to the Himalayas. Talked with TRA and they recommended this itinerary and I booked without a second thought. I knew I was assigned the best guide, and no doubt that my trip was about to be the best of the best. However, due to bad weather, our Lukla flight was postponed. But my guide offered me free stroll around Thamel, and Ason market and it was a beautiful experience. The next day we flew to Lukla, hiked to Phakding and Namche Bazar. Namche took my heart. It was a beautiful mountain town there. I was so in love with this place. My guide briefed me the heli ride to Kala Patthar. We hopped on a heli to the most popular viewpoint in Everest region to get awed by the incredible view of some of the highest mountains in the world. It was lifechanging experience there. Back in Kathmandu we had dinner together. The company had the kindest courtesy for a traveler like me. I definitely recommend them for any trips to Nepal.
