The government has decided to stop the arrival of passengers coming to Nepal from the UK.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has issued such instructions in a letter to all international airlines flying in Nepal. Now no airlines from the UK will be able to bring passengers by direct flight or by transit to any of the UK airports.
Such a decision will take effect from 12 noon on Wednesday. NEA has informed that the ban will remain in force till further notice. According to the authority, flights from the UK have been suspended due to the recent outbreak of the coronavirus in the UK.
At the same time, the journey of passengers from Nepal to the UK has also been stopped. NEA has decided to stop all flights from UK and flights from Nepal will also be stopped.
