Jiri to Everest Base Camp trek is a classic trekking trail in the Khumbu region of Nepal. This trek follows the footprint of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, starting from the green hills of Jiri. Traverse from the lower Solu region to the base camp of Everest and Kala Patthar, the vantage viewpoint in the Everest region. 

The adventure starts with a scenic ride to Bhandar via Jiri and progresses to Sete, Junbesi, and Nunthala via Trakshindu La Pass. Bhupse and Surke are the two resting grounds before heading to Phakding. From Phakding, the trail traverses Namche Bazaar, following the trail of the popular Everest Base Camp Trek. Namche Bazaar and Dingboche are the two major acclimatization stop in Everest Region. 

The trail slowly ascends to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar. En route, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorak Shep are the major stopping points. The trail follows the standard route of Everest Base Camp while returning to Lukla. You will then fly to Kathmandu from Lukla, ending this classic trek.
