Panchase Trek is one of the easy treks in Nepal best for beginners and families. It is an off the beaten path trek in the Annapurna region which is gaining popularity in recent times. During this three days trek in the lower hills of Nepal, you will be trekking in the dense forest, walking past streams which opens up to the stunning view of the Himalayas. Further, you will get to enjoy the majestic views of the snowy mountains including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu and Lamjung Himal.

Moreover, you will be trekking in the Panchese region which is rich in flora and fauna. A wide variety of orchids is found in this region. Around 125 species of orchids have been recorded in the Panchase region out of 381 known species. You will find walnut, oak, pine and rhododendron trees in the forest. It is home to 19 species of mammals like spotted deer, civet cat, common leopard, barking deer, fox, black bear, wild boar and common langur. The forest is home to 260 species of resident and migratory birds. Some of the birds found in this region are wildfowl, bulbuls, babblers, bee-eaters, kingfishers, parrots and others. 

Your journey begins with a boat ride across Phewa Lake followed by a hike up to the World Peace Pagoda. Further, you will be trekking to the village of Bhumdi which is inhabited by mostly Gurung and Brahmin people. On the following day, you will be trekking to Phanchase Bhanjyang walking on a scenic trail. Savor the astounding view of mountains over 8,000 meters on your way. Moreover, you will be hiking up to Panchase hill walking up stone steps which offer a panoramic view of mountains. A hike to Bhadure is the last leg of the Panchase trek and you will be driving back to Pokhara.

Further, you will be trekking to Nagthali Danda which offers stunning views of the Himalayas; and continue your trek to Thuman, a Tamang village. On your way to Briddim, you will be hiking close to the Nepal-Tibet border and you will be returning to Syabrubesi. I have been to many trekking routes of Nepal. I was not satisfied by explaining the experience I had traveling to the Himalayas and always wanted my wife and daughter to take part in any of the easy treks in Nepal. Now I have got this article to share with them and inspire for easy treks in Nepal.

My imagination till now are totally wrong. I always kept on thinking the trekking trips are hard and beginners can not do it at all. But the options and feasibility of the trekking trip presented in this blog encouraged me to get out to the woods as soon as possible. Appreciate it.
