Lobuche East Climbing with EBC, Renjo, and Cho La Pass Trek - 19 days

Lobuche East Climbing with EBC, Renjo, and Cho La Pass Trek - 19 days

Lobuche East Climbing with EBC, Renjo, and Cho La Pass Trek is for those wishing to embark on an ultimate Himalayan adventure in the Everest region. On this combined trip package, you'll get the best opportunity to climb the Lobuche peak and cross two high mountain passes: Renjo La (5,360m) and Cho La (5,420m). You'll also get to ascend dramatic Gokyo Ri, Kala Patthar, and visit serene Gokyo Lakes and the Everest Base Camp (EBC), the world's highest peak base camp, Mt. Everest.

Lobuche is one of the famous trekking peaks in the Everest region and has two summits, east (6,119m) and west (6,145m). Lobuche East Climbing with EBC, Renjo, and Cho La Pass Trek route is highly recommended. The reason for the recommendation is that trekking through Gokyo valley, two high passes, and EBC will help you acclimate before the Lobuche expedition.

If you wish, you can experience all these treks separately, which will take approximately 40  to 50 days. However, if time and cost are a barrier, this brief itinerary is a perfect choice. This 19-day itinerary follows the same trail, covering all major highlights of these 3 separate treks of EBC, two high mountain passes, and climbing Lobuche peak. Thus, this combination of trek and peak climbing will save your time and money by completing this trek in just 19 days with proper acclimatization.

Starting with the mountain flight to Lukla, you embark on your Lobuche east climbing with EBC, Renjo, and Cho La Pass trekking journey. You'll pass through several famous and less visited Sherpa villages. Diverting from the main EBC trail, you'll follow the alternative route to Thame village. Crossing the Renjo La pass, you'll get to Gokyo valley, where you'll ascend to Gokyo Ri (5,360m) or take an excursion of the 4th (Thonak Tsho) and 5th (Ngozumpa Tsho) lakes.

Further traversing the Cho La Pass, you'll reach Lobuche village and continue your trail to Gorak Shep. Hiking to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) and Kala Patthar (5,550m) is another major highlight of this trip. After being well-acclimatized, it's time for the real adventures of peak climbing. You'll head towards Lobuche High Camp, where you'll get peak climbing training from your trekking guide.

From the summit of Lobuche east peak, you'll enjoy one of the excellent panoramic mountain views of the Everest region. You'll enjoy the magnificent sight of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Cholatse, Pumori, and many more. After enjoying the best moment of your life at the top of the summit, you'll trek down to Pheriche. Following the same trail to Namche, Lukla, you'll finally fly back to Kathmandu. With the departure to the airport for your final flight, your Lobuche East Climbing with EBC, Renjo La, and Cho La pass trek end.

Lobuche East Climbing

My second expedition in Nepal and probably the best peak climbing. I owe huge thanks to Naba, Chhewang and other teams for the successful expedition. It was challenging at times, but with a great team, you are always a step ahead. I am glad that I chose this itinerary as it gave me a new prospect and experiencve to the Himalayas of Nepal. Thanks Naba again for dinner in Thamel.
