From central Kathmandu, it takes around one and a half hours to reach the resort town. The road weaves past forests and farms. It is a peaceful ride filled with awesome views of villages and green hills.

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the mountains. The landscape looks like a painting as the sun rises, lighting up the hills and valleys.

Nagarkot's hilltop location makes it an excellent viewpoint. In winter, one can see the Himalayan range stretching on the horizon. On a clear day, one can even spot the summit of Mount Everest.

After breakfast, you will be driven to the domestic airport in Kathmandu to catch your flight to Pokhara. During the thirty-minute flight, you can enjoy amazing views of the snowcapped mountains - Annapurna, Machhapuchhre or Fishtail Peak, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu.

Our guide will drive you to your hotel on arrival. No activity is planned for today. You can explore the lakeside area on your own in the evening. The scene at the lakeside turns lively and fun at dusk.

Overnight in Pokhara.

Take pictures and soak in the view before heading back to Pokhara. Your sightseeing tour begins after breakfast. You get to visit Davis Falls, Gupteshwar Cave, and International Mountain Museum. You also get to ride on a wooden boat at the Phewa Lake and visit the small island with the Tal Barahi Temple.

Your guide will take you first to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is an ancient Hindu temple and a protected world heritage site. If you are a Hindu, you can enter the temple; if not, you can get a close-up view of the temple from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River. The Arya Ghat, or the Hindu cremation site, lies on the other side of the river, and you can observe the funeral rites performed by the relatives of the deceased.

Nagarkot and Sarankot trip

Had an early morning view from Sarankot and Nagarkot. Annapurna range, Machhapuchre, Dhaulagiri and other peaks were clearly visible under clear weather. Pokhara is a lovely place to hangout. I loved Pokhara., While Kathmandu is a bit chaotic for sure.
