Pashupatinath Temple is regarded as the biggest Hindu temple in Nepal
Today you will visit 4 well-known world heritage sites in Kathmandu. Start the trip with a visit to Pashupatinath, which lies around 5 km northeast of Kathmandu. Your next destination is one of the holy Buddhist sites of Nepal, Boudhanath. The biggest stupa in Nepal, Boudhanath, is the center of Tibetan Buddhism. Further, you will visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square and finally conclude the day with a visit to Swayambhunath Stupa atop a hill.

Changunarayan Temple - a UNESCO world heritage site in Nepal
You will begin the day with a short drive from your hotel at around 4:30 am to admire mesmerizing sunrise from Nagarkot viewpoint. Nagarkot is a popular hill station in Nepal situated at an altitude of 2,175m. Next, we hike to Changunarayan for about 4-5 hours. The hiking trail passes through Telkot village, inhabited by Tamang and Newari communities. You will reach the hilltop temple of Changunarayan, a UNESCO world heritage site in Nepal. After exploring the ancient temple, you will take a drive from Changunarayan to Kathmandu.

I joined a group for a cultural tour in Kathmandu and specially for the Nagarkot Sunrise tour. The mountain view from Nagarkot was breathtaking. I must say that it competes with Poon Hill. I simply loved the idea of going early in the morning for sunrise view. The cultural sites in Kathmandu are exceptionally marvelous. My guide let me know so much about those sites. I am glad that I did this tour.
