Trek to Hotel Everest View with visit EBC, Kala Patthar, and Gokyo Lake by Heli - 7 days

Trek to Hotel Everest View with visit EBC, Kala Patthar, and Gokyo Lakes by Heli is one of the most comfortable treks that covers all major highlights of the Everest region. This combination trek with heli ride avoids long trekking days, high altitudes, and basic accommodations. This 7-day trek leads you to the Hotel Everest View, which has been listed as the Highest Placed Hotel in the world in the Guinness Book of World Records (2004). You'll fly over the base camp of the world's tallest mountain- Everest Base Camp (EBC) (5,364m) and get off the helicopter at notable vantage points of Kala Patthar (5,550m) and pristine Gokyo Lake (4,790m).

This combination of a trek and heli ride is an excellent option for those adventure seekers who want to see as much of the Everest region in a short time. Even those who have already done trekking in this EBC route will give you a completely different bird's eye perspective of the Everest region. Also, you'll only be exposed to high altitude for a short time, so the risk of altitude sickness is minimal during this tour. Also, this combined trek with a heli ride is an ideal option for families who don't want high-altitude trekking.

For the first part of the trek, after flying to Lukla, you'll start walking from here, following the bankside of Dudh Koshi River, and reach Namche Bazaar. From here, you'll go side trip to Thamo and Khumjung village. After this, you'll spend a night at an exclusive Hotel Everest View at 3,880m. You'll enjoy the luxury facilities with warm Sherpa hospitality during your stay. And then, you'll take a heli ride to EBC, Kala Patthar, and Gokyo Lake, which is also the main highlight of this trek.

From the iconic viewpoint of Kala Patthar, you'll relish the awe-inspiring mountain views and stunning natural beauty of the Everest region. The view of lofty snowy peaks such as Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Changtse, Pumori, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kangtega, and Lobuche is totally stunning. In addition, the aerial view of Gokyo Lake and getting off the helicopter to enjoy the scene of pristine Gokyo Lake is an absolutely mind-blowing experience you would ever have.

Within one and half hours, you'll explore all major places of the Everest region and get back to Kathmandu for the final departure. Thus, this trek to Hotel Everest View with a visit to EBC, Kala Patthar, and Gokyo Lake by Heli is a perfect gateway to get the full experience of the Everest region in a short duration with luxury and comfort.

Great Trip

A trip to Hotel Everest view.. being able to see the Everest from our rooms and a helicopter ride near the Everest had always been on our bucket list ... and Third Rock Adventures with Naba and his team (special mention - Dol - the ever smiling assistant of Naba) made it memorable... Naba was personally involved in planning and execution to the T... when on our way to the Hotel the weather packed up and we had to make an unscheduled landing at Lukla... he made arrangements for a hotel stay overnight within minutes... made sure we were taken care of... he was constantly monitoring the weather and modified the plans so that we had the most amazing experience.... Prajjwal the helicopter pilot of Air Dynasty was an expert and took special interest to show us the mountains and knew the names of most !! The Hotel staff was courteous and took care of all our needs... the food was also customised to the dietary preference... a helicopter ride to the Everest was the icing on the cake....on our way back as we had time Naba took us to Pashupatinath Temple as well... these gestures of his made the trip a cherished one... Thanks Naba and Third Rock Adventures for everything... we would recommend them to everyone planning a trip to Nepal ...

incredible mountain flight

This was the best I could expect. I never thought that a Nepali travel agency would organize such itinerary. It took me almost a week to search through the internet and scan through hundreds of travel agency before I could finalize the trip for myself. The founder himself chatted with me and even called me to make sure everything is syncing. How great is that of Him! It was an amazing trip.
